I'm inclined to agree.

Shame he can't match previously offered prices - or at least be in the same ball park!
 
why don't you guys make him an offer on ebay individually? I know if he hasn't agreed for a reduced price for a group buy, there is less chance of better one on ebay, but you never know, worth a try.

I can't believe how expensive these things have got.

About 12 months ago I bought a set like ranski (clear rears, 3rd brake light and side indicators) for around 120 gbp delivered to aus.

I just spray painted my clear lights with translucent red paint and they were instantly 4 white spot lights... Maybe you guys could consider modding some clear tail lights?
