Hi Everyone

After the recent purchase of some 108s on the forum ive cleaned up my Previous MV2s and am sticking them up for sale:

There in pretty decent condition.

1 front has a tiny amount of kerbing and the other front has a slightly larger scratch, but both rears are free of kerbing.

Some corrosion on the inside of the fronts but not visible when wheels are on.

They are 100% free of Buckles, Bends, splits or fractures,Which i know is rare for BMW wheels.

These come with 4 genuine BMW centre caps as well.

The tyres that are currently on the wheels are completely shot and have been left on to protect the wheels during transit.

These wheels are still in their original BMW finish and have never been refurbished.

Pics:

(The Worst Kerbing)

The Other Kerb Mark:

These wheel still look great fitted but if you wanted them 100% perfect you may consider a refurb.

Im asking £300

Plus around £40 delivery (paisley freight) Insured, Next day courier.

Collection welcome from Warwick

Payment: Cash on collection or paypal with fees paid by Buyer.

Thanks

Alex

Just an opinion, but you may be pricing too high given that at least two need a refurb. I sold nearly mint 108s on here in March for £300 plus delivery and that was considered a decent price for a more sought after type of wheel. No tyres on the fronts, tyres on the rear with a couple of thousand miles left at most.

+1 on that..

I would of thought around the £200 mark because a refurb is going to cost about £60-80 per wheel..

But GLWTS anyway..

Hi guys

Thanks for the input. Its good to know.

I did have a hard time pricing them up to be honest.

I looked on eBay for weeks to see what a similar set go for but I could never get a decent comparison. Most were around the 350 mark with shot tyres, and a lot were just single wheels for stupid money. Like £100 a wheel.

So then I checked what a set is worth fully refurbished without tyres on bm autosprt website and they go for 600!!!

Also I looked on the forum and there is a chap selling a set of 3 - 1 of which is cracked for 180.

Given that and given that they are all straight and in genuine condition I thought 300 really was a fair price.

if not thought I'm open to a sensible offer on what people are prepared to pay.

But if it's one thing I've learned is most things are worth what someone is willing to pay.

£200 give or take 10/15% would see them gone & would be a fair price to both parties / the tyres are shot & the courier costs have also to be considered ,
A freshly refurbed set without tyres is worth around £400 again give or take 10/15%
A respectable set with decent tyres worth around the same .
Best of luck

As a side note, I dont know where you guys get your wheels refurbished but:

http://www.citypowdercoating.co.uk/#!__price

£20 Per Wheel - includes full chemical strip, sand down any marks, powder coat and lacquer.

Anyone in need of a refurb may want to look into this.

In fact I should have just stripped and binned the tyres got them refurbed for £100 and sold them on for £500 as Mr Wilks says,

That's all the way in Birmingham lol. Here in the south it's much closer to £60

Im 15 miles from birmingham, That idea of the refurb is sounding more and more tempting in my head.

Or if someone would prefer them refurbing, I can get that done as the Mrs works in Birmingham I could have them done next week.

Let me know guys
