My 35i UK speedometer is calibrated in MPH (with underlying KPH) to a max of 160mph (260kph).
The handbook shows a 'generic' european speedometer calibrated to 280kph.
Thus the mainland European speedo is calibrated for a faster speed.
All Z4s that can achieve it are 'limited' to 155mph (250kph) anyway, so it is academic I know, but WHY? :?
So......to what maximum speed is your speedo calibrated????
PS Ladies...don't get worked up, my comment is not sexist.....along the lines of "gentlemen, start your engines", there were no ladies driving Le Mans cars when that phrase was coined.......
