Generic Ballast for Z4 xenon headlight?

troubleshooting today I've found that my ballast has gone on one of my xenon headlights.

Plenty of choice on ebay but want to make sure I get the right one. It looks like it has the same fitment.

Or does it need to be Z4 specific?

says fits e85 so should be ok, same ballast shared on variuos models because most headlights made in the same factory

Mini ones also look like they fit, as do (I think) Jag X-type.

i got one from here

the first one i got from ebay, turned out to have had all the insides taken out and some home made circuits put in
