gearknob problem?

Hi

Just had my alpine white z4m for 2 weeks now and loving it but noticed the other day that at night the gear knob illumination is strange. Is it only supposed to loook like m1 when lit up due tot eh darker colours on the m111 part? So basically at night you only see the red parts lit up and not the other colours or is it broken and hence needs sorting on the warenty.

Other than that the cars amazing will get some pics up soon !!!
