Gearbox Oil ?

I know its proberbly been asked a thousand times, But.. I was told i need to look for a sticker with the info on it somewhere on the gearbox, But theres no sticker and no info in the manual i got with the paperwork etc.

Im pretty savy with doing the job, .. But which oil ? or more along the lines of which viscosity ? i have absolutely no clues what to buy.
Its a 2010 E89 and theres nothing in the paperwork to say its been done and coming up to 117k .. Please please any info would be gratefully received thank you

Assuming it's a manual box, when I had it changed in my previous E86 my Indy used BMW MTF LT2, but I think there are other brands that make an equivalent. He charged for 2 litres, but I think you'll have some left over.
 
E89 6 speed box uses MTF LT3 if you buy BMW or Alternative brand that meets the specification from Opie Oils online 75W/80 transmission oil. You will need 2 bottles as the box takes just over 1 bottle.
