One thing that always used to annoy me about my E46 - and I'm sad to see has carried over in the Zed - was the leather gaiter around the gear lever. No matter how much I tried, I always ended up with dust and bits and pieces littering in the 'gutter' around the gear lever. I could never seem to clean it 100% - even the place I took it to have it valeted before I sold it couldn't get it totally clean.
I'd like to buy something that isn't quite so 'baggy' so that it doesn't end up with a gutter for the cruft to fall into. Anybody know of any good ones - ideally, does anyone have one fitted with a picture to share? If it looks rubbish I'll reconsider (and maybe buy a more powerful hoover instead!)
