Gear knob & CD cassette

Hi guys, just got myself a Z4M Coupe - picked it up yesterday and already love it! Just a couple of questions.... The (illuminated) gear-knob moves a little (twists) - is this normal? It certainly doesn't impede gear-changes (its actually quite nice) but is it 'broken'? Also, it has a CD multiplayer between the seats. Looks like its never been used and the magazine is empty - but I can't seem to get it to eject... Its got a green button, bottom drivers side. I've tried pushing and holding it, prodding it, everything - nothing happens... Am I being stupid? Have I missed something? Ta
