Hi
After spending money on detailers I think long term I’m going to give it a go myself ..
So have so far purchased clay bars, autopoint Topaz, 50 Cal glaze, meguiars ultimate compound.
Just need to find a good DA polisher with pads and 3m masking tape and should be all set.
My DSB e89 is in good nick but even after 2 detailing sessions swirl marks have come back and this time will try and correct them and wash the car properly ...
I will be doing this panel by panel due to time I have, was hoping to take my time and seal off the work with Williams wash and wax until whole car gets finished ..
Questions..
is the stuff I bought adequate and cover up minor swirls, do I need other compounds ?
I’m going to use a yellow pad when I buy my DA, is this too aggressive to start with?
What wax do you recommend to finish the car off(i have an unused bottle of Autoglym ultra deep shine and a bottle of Autogylm extra gloss protection I like to use up if poss?)
Thanks as always
