Found guilty of a string of new child sex offences !

Bring back hanging I say - then when we finally get to the bottom of the consistently covered up MP / Judiciary / VIP child abuse story the law will be in place to take care of them as well!

Scum of the earth

Yep. How long has this taken to convict him ?

He wont get off lightly inside. Child abuse doesnt rank highly amongst the inmates.

I doubt very much he will go to any prison, more likely he will go to sex offenders prison like Rolf Harris.

Tim.

Yep he is a toad.

I still like his music though. Foot stamping stuff. And the concerts were hilarious. High energy foolishness. Fun.

I have to admit in my early teenage years (early 70's) I used to really like him and the Glitter band.

Myself and a mate went to quite a few of their Christmas concerts.

Now, well I think euthanasia would help to put people like this out of their misery. Also closure to their victims.

You beat me to it re liking his music, although I was a bit loathed to admit it but now there's a couple of post's the same, I don't feel so bad  I do have his hits on my ipod.
His music from the early 70's reminds me of my first serious girlfriend back then. Hope my wife never reads this

But that aside, he should get what he deserves

I attended a GG concert and my (underage) girlfriend was invited backstage afterwards. Fantastic looking girl. Not me though, I was 15. That was the end of that relationship.. She refused to talk about it, what had happened, later. The road crew were definitely complicit. I expect they don't mention Glitter on their CVs. I have always had a rather jaundiced view of him as a person. I am very glad to see him behind bars.

Well I have to say its not looking good for me !!!

I too grew up with Gary Glitter as a hero and Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris........... what is the world coming to !!

For me you can hang the bastards ! bet nobody wants to be in his gang now eh ?

That is truly shocking!

Picked out of the crowd.

I didn't understand really how she could just disappear round the back and leave me standing waiting. The road crew must have had standing orders about letting pretty young girls through into the backstage area. Definitely complicit. It was a different age though. Spring 1976. Pre AIDs, rock stars took what they wanted. Both of us so naive it doesn't bear thinking about. And then I was disappointed that she was reticent about meeting the 'great man'. It never crossed my mind that she could have been hurt.
:(
Ha.

It's all supposition.

When they need medical treatment while in jail, will they still have to go on the NHS waiting list like the rest of us?
