Garagistic E89 6MT DSSR Group Buy

With no one offering a DSSR for the E89 chassis, I reached out to Garagistic to see what the feasibility would be if I sent them a spare OEM selector rod I picked up on eBay. Garagistic replied that not only would they be able to produce the DSSR for us, they are willing to give us a 20% group buy discount if we can get 10 or more pre-orders.

Normally, their DSSRs retail for $125 USD + shipping, this group buy would knock that down to $100 USD + shipping. International shipping is also available.

I'll start the list off for interest, a pre-order link will be provided once we reach our goal.

WHAT IS A DSSR?
It stands for double shear selector rod. A DSSR will spread the torsional force on both sides of the selector rod instead of the OEM selector rod which connects from one side only. The DSSR design is based on the concept of the E30 M3 DTM cars of legend! DSSR setups mean less play in the shifter, (decreases side-to-side motion), which creates a more precise and smooth shift every time.

Compared to our OEM selector rod (see below), the E36 M3 DSSR is similar to what ours would eventually look like, due to the bend: https://www.garagistic.com/products/billet-e36-m3-328-dssr-selector-rod-25111222738

So you're a newbie, this is your first post, no introduction or anything and you're trying to start a group buy, presumably without admin approval. I'll also assume this is in the US and you're doing it on a, predominantly, UK based group with no specific shipping cost to the UK!! Good luck, mainly with not having this post taken down!

A solution looking for a problem ? 🤔
Fwiw I made a similar gear linkage from standard parts for my Triumph for a fraction of these costs

I appreciate the warm welcome, Dave. All I'm trying to do is offer this Z4 community something that another Z4 community thought would be a good mod to tighten up our shifter with a product that is proven on several other BMW chassis. I didn't post this to start anything, so I don't really understand the hostility, but if this post gets no interest or gets taken down, so be it.

I'm not saying it's not a worthwhile mod, and I'm certainly not being hostile, but you hit the nail on the head with the first part of your reply...
"I appreciate the warm welcome, Dave." You're a new member, nobody knows you, you could be anybody trying a scam for all we know. There are ways and means to do something for the Z4 community, and this isn't it. Nobody is going to go into something like this with someone they simply have never met before.

So, moving on, what other Z4 sites have you posted this on? Presumably not zpost.com, as I'm a long standing member there and I can't say I've seen it.
And on, wherever that site/s is/are, what sort of take up did you get?
