Afternoon all. So as I'm currently at home I've been giving my garage a do over. Painted walls, new racking etc and I would like to put interlocking floor tiles down, I've looked on EBay and there is plenty of variety but thought I'd ask here for those that have fitted it. Any info and even pics would be great, thanks

Don't

Once had them in an engine room at work slippery with any oil and or water

If you spill any oil or other fluid it gets under them and keeps creeping up

Have a look on easy compensates web site at epoxy floor there is a video and the finished floor is stunning

Thanks for the advice. I won't be doing any engine work or oil changes but I'd want it more just for the looks.

Costco do some garage flooring that looked pretty decent when I was last in there. They did some that came on a roll and others that were interlocking tiles.

Thanks, I'll take a look

I have these interlocking pvc tiles. Not the cheap ones, you can jack the car up on these without damage.

They look a bit young to be jacking cars up! :P

Just bought some garage tiles from a company called Duramat. Not arrived yet but they seem to get good reviews.

Now fitted and very pleased with the product. Hopefully they wear well.

I have used them for several years and they always look good, easy to clean and don't move or buckle with heating/cooling issues. There is a down side that car tyres interact with the vinyl and cause stains where the four wheels are parked. It takes a few months to happen and there is no way of removing the stain, the lighter the tile the more pronounced the stain is. You can obviously change the list/replace offending tiles if it becomes unbearable.

I’ve gone with porcelain tiles. Cheaper than duratile etc, more able to work over uneven floors and won’t damaged under jack stands, liquid spills etc.
