I know it's been said before a million times but having just only fitted my GapTech RCH+ today - WOW.

How have I not bought one of these before - truly excellent!

I love mine, wish it didnt put the windows back up though - first world problems :p

Yeah, that's because it doesn't change any coding though, just sits between the button & the control unit to close the circuit and keep it closed until the normal sequence is complete. I do love it - brilliant mod

Love mine mainly for the one touch roof open / close no holding your finger on the button

mine broke down after the battery was flat, when the battery was recharged, it didn't work anymore. Two days later it magically worked again... Glad it's back OK because it really is superhandy!

It was my first and only mod so far.....BEST THING EVER! Why wasn't it standard?

I love mine too, although I do suggest not using the supplied scotchlocks as i've had to sort mine out 5 times now. Needs soldering together really.

Yeah thats what I need for mine. What are they called?

They look the same as whats found in light fittings? Tiny screw which holds the wires in?

I've heard them called terminal strips & chocolate blocks as well, got mine from maplins-I did have a few glitches caused by the scotchclips, since changing the connectors it's been 100%
Regards

Used to call them choc blocks when I did engineering at school/Uni. Not sure if they still are ...

Just fitted a GAPTEC RCH+.
Would recommend soldering from the start makes a much more cleaner and effective installation

Fitted mine recently too, great little mod.

I just thought it was for lazy people that couldn't be bothered to hold the open button down but kept getting annoyed and embarrassed when it kept stopping half way open!!

Not anymore. :D

I used the scotch locks provided and just squeezed them shut as hard as I could with pliers and its been fine. If this doesn't work for you then you're obviously not strong enough and need more Sausages in your diet!

Wait a while and see if it stops working

Mine didn't work yesterday but worked fine today. Very temperamental. Might be something to do eith the ridiculously high temps we've been having this week.

Mine's been fitted for over a year and I've had no issues with my soldered connections, the supplied connections should be thrown in the sin bin
