gaptech problem help!!!!!

Hi i recently fitted a one touch hood product from gap tech which works perfect except since doing this i can't get the airbag light on my dash to go off can you please advise if i have done something wrong, also would any of you be able to email me a wiring diagram as i have misplaced mine thanks in advance....

You got an airbag light straight away when fitting? It sounds unrelated though ...

yes the light seem to come on after fitting it maybe just a coincidence how can i rule this out??

after doing some searching on the net it looks as if this light will come on if any electric wires have been disconnected pity i had not new this first!!!

I take it you did disconnect the battery while installing the gaptech?

I did not disconnect the battery as you only crimp wires on and they are "dead" until you have the ignition on (from memory).

Are you sure you crimped the scotch locks onto the correct wire? I did mine the other day without disconnecting the battery. No problems.

fitted mine without disconnecting the battery too... no problems on my car.

Either its unrelated on the wrong wire has been spliced.. not that i can see how any of those near the control panel interfere with the airbag.

as a fyi i had mine fitted for about a month with the scotch locks, with no issues... but after I soldered it on with a gas powered soldering iron.
