Gaptech Battery Drain

Hi,

After fitting in quick succession a Gaptech RCH+, LED interior bulbs and a BlueBus, over the next 4 or 5 days I was faced with something causing a power drain.
One evening I woke to my alarm going off, and when I got to the car I found that the drivers side window was slightly open (it was definitely closed when I left the car) and the battery so drained the car was unable to start.
Due to the open window, I immediately suspected that Gaptech and removed it the following day. For over a week now I have had no further problems with the battery level.
Has anyone else experienced this with a Gaptech?

Thanks Usel
I will shoot off a support request to Gaptech. For the sake of keeping my finger on the button for 10 seconds, i'm pretty sure I can do without the electrical anomalies :D

Well, would seem as though that was a waste of £100 as the seller will not respond to the 3 support emails I have sent.
I don't suppose anyone on here knows the guy?

Chargeback otherwise will get a response I am sure. You have 3 emails as evidence.

The Gaptech fitted to my car went bad after a few years and caused confusing roof and locking issues.

I tried the chargeback via PayPay and they refused my case as the purchase was over 30 days old.
What is your PayPal attached to? When I had an issue, PayPal didn’t want to know but as it is connected to my credit card, the CC company refunded me instead.

It's connect direct to my bank account. I don't have credit cards.

It's worth having a credit card for high value purchases due to the Section 75 protection. Much stronger than chargeback.
