Gaptech + AUX + USB test please

Can I ask for a few of you to do a test...

With Gaptech installed...

Plug in your iPhone (or other) via AUX and a USB charger, turn on the engine and play audio through AUX - do you get any interference?

Without Gaptech installed...

Same as above

I'm getting really bad interference when all of this is plugged in and so cannot listen via AUX and charge at the same time.

Others on the forum say it's the ground loop but would be great to see if others get the same issue.

Thanks.

Def ground loop. I'll put a fiver on it.

Just wondering how straight forward it'd be to buy a ground loop isolator and then join it to my existing AUX. Want to make everything as neat as possible.

suggest a cheap in-line one first

Wouldn't one of these be better https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ldex-Ground-Isolator-Bluetooth-speaker/dp/B01KL6W7UI as it's the regular 3.5mm cable?

It'll be the phone charger, and do you also have a dashcam, as the power supplies for some of them cause noise too.. I've found some of them cause horrendous interference..

I now use a separate hardwired twin usb power supply for charging and powering my dashcam, and the interference caused to the radio has gone.
