GAP-TECH Remote Control

Hello,

Does anyone know if the GAP-TECH remote control works on the E89? Their website seems to stop at E85. I am wanting to open and close the roof with a one button press. Any other suggestions on how to do this? I can currently open the roof by pressing and holding the open button on the remote. The dealer tells me that closing it remotely is disabled for health & safety. I think CARLY can enable closing the roof by pressing and holding the close button. Anyone tried this?

Nope - You need something like the smart-top for the E89, at around 3 x the price..

Just had this comment back from Gap-Tech

"Our modules currently only work with the E85, however there is a slim chance that we may include the E89 as well by the end of this year but we cant be sure at the moment."
