Do you guys know their stuff? They seemed to get impressive reviews from EVO pn their M3 and have reputation to be as good on chassis mods as awaseome but useable power.

quite impressed byb their exhaust back boxes They remedie that "dog's danglers" aspect.

2 things I dont like about that ........ the intake is behind the headlight so although fine whilst the car is moving as soon as it stops it,l draw warm air from under the bonnet, and the second thing is theres no intercooler which limits its state of tune ( compressing air creates heat)
But yes it looks impressive

Looks nice, like the g-power stuff, like the Hurricane m5,etc they did...just wish their charger kits werent bright orange or green, etc, lol.

Wonder what bhp etc this z4m coupes putting out?

EDIT...checked the website...450bhp. nice  :driving:

That is blinggg, quite like it! Needs a stubby though :) Have no idea about the performance stuff, that's not my department...!

Air filter looks small IMO, I'm assuming they have flow tested it and it's fine of course, just looks small! lol

That's jus amazing  I keep thinking of sc my 3.0l. And then think just get an //M. But for all you //M owners who need more its got to be the best route. So much better than a turbo. O and if you sc an //M your BHP greedy

If you were doing it all again, what kit would you use Beedub?... Just planning ahead

definitely the ESS because of.. the upgrade path, the Air / Air intercooler and the vortech V3SI Trim supercharger (Only 50 CFM off the race T trim series) , the intercooling pipework is a bastard to get right BUT its soooo stable in hot temps and prolonged use hard use... the whole ESS is installed without adding one whole that wasnt their stock.... i love the way it fits and works and works consistently under HARD conditions. On top of that it looks completely oem, i love seeing all the boost pipework neatly snaking in and out the engine....... wonderful kit and every last penny ive spent has been worth it, ive never had so much fin with a car....

ive never been a fan of air to water setups....

take a quick read and you'll get the jist ;-).

each setup has its advantages however but for my usage and prolonged sprint usage. Ive spent all day at the sprint circuit running in 29 deg C heat, no limp modes, no huge dropoff in power, just solid reliable power!!

the gpower kits use the ASA blowers and they really make awesome Tq, turbo like Tq, but they run out of power up top..... Thye run similar impellar speeds as turbo's basically using a specially planetary step up system!! They sound awesome as well!!

my dirty great whopping V3si is like a using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, really comes alive with boost, due to its Higher rating it needs 9+ psi to really get into its stride and get into the meat of its efficiency range.

I thought you'd say that given the previous discussions on the subject, here and on other forums :D
Thanks for the extra information too. I'll do my own research nearer the time, but there's no substitute for experience...
If I've any money left I'll be supercharging my ///M as soon as I get back from Oz

Personnaly not interested of fitting it on my car unless it had a lazy V8 in it. But its niçce to have a european option. I think ESS is USA only and importing the stuff means taxes... unless they have a UK operation too.

You can buy in the UK but ESS is a Swedish company.
