Fusion Design Package Rare? Purchase alone?

My secondhand 35iS came with the (expensive) Fusion/Pure White packages and the wood's inoffensive enough. Indeed, it's probably a bit better than the aluminium version, because it has some detail & depth to it.

If it'd looked like the Bentleys above, though, I wouldn't have bought it.

Those 2 Bentley interiors are horrible.
Their clients have a strange view on what is beautiful.

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This Bentley, the EXP 10 Speed 6, earned the top concept car prize at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

As one auto journalist printed: "Bentley didn’t skimp on the interior treatment of this concept either. Like the exterior, the EXP 10 Speed 6’s cabin is rich with detail. Quilted leather lines the seats and door panels, while the EXP 10 Speed 6’s gear lever has an aluminium, copper and cherry wood finish. The Bentley Continental EXP 10 Speed 6 exudes both beauty and class, and we hope the British automaker can translate the concept car’s striking details to a production-bound vehicle."

Sorry but wood just isn't a very sporty trim, which is why it suits the Bentley, Rolls, Jags, etc.

I have the ivory leather interior, and while the dark wood wasn't particularly offensive I preferred something different, dare I say unique, it still looks like factory trim as it's not CF wrap.

The shapes, design and layout looks great but the colours and the quilting is just too much and looks like it was an interior designer like Lawrence Lewelyn Bowen that furnished them.
