Love the Q&As - 'built for double denim'...

Cheeky fecker... I might try to find out where he lives. If only to make him an offer for his hardtop!!

It's Ricey01 on here - PM him. In fact better, ask a leading question of him about the hard top on eBay, something along the lines of what additional aerodynamic, BHP & sexual attractiveness contribution it provides when fitted

Do you offer your services for freelance copy writing? Could make enough to buy a 370z.

Brilliant ad but maybe not the best way of fooling some clown into buying it.

I do an extensive line in complaint letters

Bottom line is that a 'normal' advert didn't generate a single call and autotraders statistics email that they now helpfully send said that i had 215 views in 2 weeks.?.....this has had 2055 views in 24 hours - got to be better than chucking another 36 quid at autotrader. :attentionwhore:

I think everyone on here have taken a look at it. Very, very amusing... just very conscious not to wear any denim from here on in...

Let's face it.....it not going to sell.

Basically I need to split the hard top and make a killing on that then chip the hateful unsellsble little bitch in for my new car and take a raping on the px value.

Luckily I'm going to get a car that's even harder to shift so a trader might be glad of the swap. :driving:

most excellent plan.

What do you see yourself driving in five years?

There are a few members on here that would happily take the hardtop from you... Depending on condition its worth c.£700

I'm guessing my mentality is slightly unique but not totally out there. Basically I buy around a 14k car every 5 years or so.

Then I trade it down every year to 18 months for something else. However I love cars so much and specifically the event of buying a new car that I can be just as excited by a cheaper car as they expensive one

Eg since 2006
Bought rx8 for 14500
Straight swap for merc 230k value 7k (took a proper raping on that....had rx8 for 18 months!)
Traded in for new style lancer at 3300 px value and 14500 for lancer
Sold lancer for 8 odd grand
Bought z4
Swapping z4 for 5l V8 merc of some description

5 years us WAY too far in the future.....I might be promoted or redundant. Either way I could be driving a 25k TVR or a 2k FTO.....I'll be just as happy

Who owns the ginger Z in the pics?

Kudos for experiencing as many cars as possible. My mate had a CL55. Made a lovely noise but drove like a barge.
