Funeral of Sean (N4LLY)

I have details of Sean's funeral if anyone from the forum would like to attend or send anythoing. Please PM me for the details, as his wife (Melanie) does not wish the details to be posted publicly.

I also have an email address for Melanie if anyone would like more details from her regarding the arrangements. Obviously I am not going to post these publicly, either.

Thanks.

Thank you for your help.

As I mentioned to Pondy in a PM, it would be great if a few local Zeds could join the cortege, I’m sure Sean would have loved that.

Fittingly/ Ironically I will be at the RFH undergoing chemo at exactly the time of Sean’s funeral, so will certainly have a few minutes of contemplation as I sit in the big chair and will raise a glass (be that water or coffee) to my “big C buddy”

That would be wonderful. Sean’s car is coming with us.
We leave our home at 9.15am.

Wishing all the best with your big fight.xxx

Sad to say I cannot make it to say goodbye to Sean in person, however I have set a reminder on my phone and will take a quiet moment at 1030 this morning. :(

Yes, today is the day we say a final goodbye to Mr Nally.
My thoughts are with him, his family and friends.

Goodbye Sean. It was a pleasure! :(

Thank you all once again for your kind words and support.
We too were thinking of you, please see below extracts from Sean’s service today.

A piece for Sean’s sister’s speech:

He loved his BMW Z4 and joined a forum and reading some of the tributes
from his Z4 friends its clear that he was valued and his council was respected
so thank you for that.

A piece from myself and our children:

He loved his cars! He was a key member of the BMW Z4 forum, and he found
a great deal of support from the other members. Whilst the premise was
cars, the friends he made there connected over his story of courage and
inspiration. The Z4 was a car that was close to his heart, in fact, she’s parked
outside now as we couldn’t have our service today without his BMW being
here too.

The car you gifted Sean came to his wake.

Thank you for sharing the many years of memories . I think the video that Sean posted sums it up for me https://1drv.ms/v/s!Avg8xnuO-9RngtxTPXozLu14V_1uxg?e=GQxk6F
