Decided to sell the D90 as I wasn't using it much due to size. These days I'm a bit lazy for all that so instead reinvested in an X100. Very impressed so far and the retro look and feel are to die for.

My daughter's fiancé brought one in Tokoyo over a year ago and has been very pleased with it. Nice to see that they are now available in the UK for about £800. A very nice bit of kit.

Think I got a bargain then as paid £649 at John Lewis. Think I'm right in saying they were £1000 when launched last year here in the UK too.

Your are correct. They were pointed out to me when I was in John Lewis in Cambridge the other week. I think the price in Japan last April before they were released in the UK was just over £1000 at the exchange rate at the time.

Have you the matching case in a lovely brown leather?

Its next on the list! Am in San Diego next week with work so plan to get one there, plus maybe the optional lens adaptor, hood and filter
