A better option might be to use 99ron fuel and stick a bottle of octane booster in the tank. Some boosters raise the ron figure by 4 points and only cost about £5 a bottle.
I use my local Sainsbury's - Super Unleaded at 96p a litre is hard to beat. 12k miles and no problems whatsoever.

I have tried BP's 95 and I got much worse fuel economy - maybe 2 to 3mpg.
