FUEL PUMP RECALL????

On other BMW forums they talk about recalls.

Why haven't we been informed of these recalls??????

Doesn't BMW want us to know about the problems that all of us are having????

It cost us plenty to drive our Z's to the BMW service Dept, I know I've had mine in for service at least 8 times, 4 x for the same problem, 3 times for fuel pump, one of those times they wouldn't do anything to the Z because it didn't make the weird loud noise for them so they wouldn't change it.

If it's defective CHANGE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why should I have to travel 95 miles RT to leave it one week and use their 3 series loaner if BMW is aware of these problems Isn't there a policy that BMW come get your car fix it and deliver it back to you?

i called BMWUSA after seeing the fuel pump recall and they said no open recall on my Z even tho manufacture date matches
 
Are you referring to the MY2003/2004 Fuel Pump & Vapor Lock recall? (dated APR 12, 2004)
