A big jump this weekend..been watching it creep ever higher a penny or two every few days but just gone to fill up and after seeing a high at my local of 157.9 for deisel on Friday I was a bit surprised to see 170.9 today :o super unleaded for the zed would have stung me for 184.9  Do we think we'll be seeing a 200p litre over the coming months...the wifes 1.2td corsa is starting to look like a sensible option

That's a lot :o. Just filled up with super for £159.9 at our local Tesco. Coop and Texico all seem around the same. Regular is £151.9.

No idea on diesel never owned a tractor.

I filled the G29 up late last night after being out all day. Regular 145.9p and diesel 149.9p Can’t remember premium price.

Just driven past the petrol station 15 minutes ago, Regular 156.9p and diesel 165.9p wasn’t in the petrol station so didn’t see the price of premium, WTAF!!!! Don’t think I’ve ever seen an overnight increase like that. We’ve been casually keeping an eye of fuel in France for the Pyrenees trip. It topped €2 a litre at least 6/8 weeks ago

Just drove past Sainsburys and reg was £1.46

Also noticed Shell buying a boat of Russian oil - wonder is they will get some people protesting this one

Id get out and fill up now at that price..I think once the stations tanks are refilled you'll be seeing a substantial increase

Filled the E86 this morning at a Morisson's while doing the groceries as I the tank was dry, Unleaded was 149.x and diesel 153.x, I had a 7p per litre discount so try to squeeze every drop that would go in :D

Was in the DS so had 3/4 of a tank anyway - zed has just over a quarter so will fill up tomorrow

Different fuel but ordered heating fuel just over a week ago at 67p. Today around £1.25 :o

It's not looking good. :(

My Tesco has gone from £1.489 to £1.519 to £1.549 for regular in the space of a week so Momentum is probably £.1619 a litre now.

Luckily I filled my 3 Series with Momentum before the last increase at £1.589 a litre, but after an outing this morning my Z4 is down to about half a tank - which doesn't go too far!

But if that's the only price we have to pay for current events I'll just count myself lucky.

One thing that can be guaranteed is that once the crude oil prices drop, which they will, is that the forecourt price will not drop with any pace. The argument is the fuel they sell now was bought X number of weeks ago when the oil price why higher hence no price drop. Funny that they increase forecourt price thought the moment crude rises.......

Of course ..Shell need to do much better next year as they only made 20 billion profit this year..gotta keep those shareholders happy

How long will it be before we'll be looking back nostalgically to the days when petrol was less than £5 a litre?
Next month probably at the rate things are going :(

Thanks for the warning 👍
I filled the Zed up the other day for the 15 mile round trip for the MOT, I reckon I could squeeze a couple of litres in, so I’ll nip out tonight when I get home and brim it,
I thought 174.9 was expensive for the diesel I put in my van, it’s certainly going crazy :headbang:
