Can anyone let me know how to get to the Filler flap actuator, i have read lots of faults on the forum about the flap lock but nobody has reported how to actually get to the actuator! i can hear a noise coming from it when locking/unlocking but no pin is coming out. I don't know if the pin has been removed for any reson in the past befor i owned the car. 
i don't want to go to BMW as they will probably charge me £90 for a diagnostic check and then say it will cost £950 like they did my door locks. That i have now had fixed for £110 by CA Auto Electronics www.bmwgm5.co.uk
