It was replaced with a brand new Z4M steering wheel - item for sale comes in a original BMW retrofit box, neatly protected and packed, additionally I add a multifunction retrofit cable and retrofit manual for making the buttons work. Without a single scratch on the leather or shiny part on the buttons.

Price 250€, PayPal is accepted, money transfer also. Location is Slovenia, Europe, shipping to EU coutries is not a problem at all ...

Thanks for looking, Saso

You are aware you can get the retrofit kit for the MFSW for less than £170 from the dealers here in the uk... yet you want £225 for it, second hand, and probably some more for shipping?

Better have a gold lining ;)

I am sure it is all cosher, but different spelling of the name on the various posts, the mention of money transfer and Eastern Europe?

Why do I get this container feeling of dismantled cars ...

If our neigbouring countries Austria and Italy are also in Eastern Europe, I don't really know.. and apart from that I cannot send the item with payment upon collect, so that the PayPal and money transfer are the only options for me. And sorry - it's not a bunch of I-don't-know-where-the-parts-came-from, just some leftovers from working on my maldives blue Z4.

Offers are also considered :) Thank you, Saso

Never gives the greatest of impressions if the only posts made on a forum are "for sale" posts.

It makes more sense to post pics of your car first, show the mods you have done and why the parts are spare now rather then everyone having to guess where they are coming from.

I know, that's why please do check the Newbie forum with a couple of pics and facts - http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15109

Thank you, Saso :)

frcac - Welcome to the forum, but it's not good etiquette on the forum to just join, no introduction and then post a set of items for sale, although I'm sure you see it as a free channel and benefit to the forum members

Look at it from the position of prospective purchasers and consider as pvr says it does look dubious and especially when you add in the overseas location, topped with the fact your prices are to say the least rather high for second hand parts and will need expensive shipping.

EDIT - great to see you have now started another thread with an introduction
Any reason why the wheel is advertised as having 15k on it when your car has 45k+ or has it been in storage for months?

Because the wheel has only 15k - the steering wheel, that originally came in my Z4 had almost ruined leather by rings and other jewely from previous owner, 58 yrs old italian lady. Apart from this, some interiour parts were also heavily scratched, all of them have been replaced by new ones. To make long story short - I bought the steering wheel with multifunction as it is, but I swapped it with Z4M version on a month or so - I found the thin rim to be too thin. I'll try to post some better photos...

Have a nice day, Saso

You're pretty well covered using PayPal as a means of payment, nowadays they cover any amount and even the P&P.

Something for a different topic - but PayPal ruled in favour of a transaction for me, but could not pay me back as the seller did not have funds in their account (i.e. emptied on receipt). PayPal is useless for refunds I found unless backed by a Credit Card (which is how I got my money back from PayPal in the end).

... for all those which are interested in this wheel I am going to correct myself - reasonable offers are considered... £80 or £120 will not do the trick

Thank you, Saso

Well if a new one is £170 - I think £120 would probably be a good price for you, any more and it's not worth it.

at todays exchange rate 250 euros is just over £225 you can get a m wheel for £220, the retrofit kit for £145 so i think £120 or 132 euros is a fair offer for what is a second hand wheel not new good luck with the sale

anyone who is buying this is most likely buying just for the buttons and they are £142 from the stealers!

or less, when I finally break down my stealers into giving me the individual part numbers.

If this was going for £80, it'd be worth a punt. £120+ puts it in the realm of replacement wheel, rather than MFSW retrofit...
Quite a small market I'd think :(

but, good luck with it. If you're in no rush, I'm sure it'll sell at a price you want.
