Decided to sell my recent acquisition for commuting. Need the space in the garage and although I've only had it for a few months it's done me well commuting in and out of London. Bought from a work colleague who had it from new, so if anybody is in the market for a scooter with lots of accessories please check out the link below and PM me. Vespa LX50
Registered December 2008
Two owners from new.
Around 8400 kms
Restricter removed so now 40-45mph top speed

Comes with:
- Vespa top box
- Full height screen
- Chain/lock
- Waterproof riding blanket
- Small sized Vespa helmet

Never been dropped!
Attempted and failed robbery of top box left scratches.
Paintwork good everywhere else.
Full service April 2010
Spare keys
Taxed until Nov 2011 (£15)

Originally £2200 from new plus accessories.

You slag, how dare you come on here with your fancy scooter offering a better price to forum members. Don't think just because someone advertised a scooter on here before that you can come marching in here doing likewise.

The for sale section should keep it Zed only. Of course the people selling computers are Zed related because they can use the forum, and the home HiFis, well you need to listen to music when you're on the forum. But a scooter! A frickin' scooter!

Sir, an ///M isn't a pass to do whatever the hell you please :P

PS, nice scooter... good luck with the sale, make a nice run around. I'd be very tempted if I lived and worked in the same town / city.


Do we need a separate post to settle on some selling rules once and for all?
 
Don't see anything wrong in a long term contributor selling something that isn't zed related...

Thanks all. I don't know what came over me. The power of the ///M obviously makes me think i can achieve absolutely anything! Will move to the LOUNGE section.

does it come with hardtop or is it a coupe :rofl:
 
No hardtop Im afraid or heated seats but it does have a stubby and 7 inch CSL reps :D
 
AlanJ bit harsh to be negative at inkey$ for posting about the scooter for sale when it doesn't say you can't on here, and I personally don't see the problem with genuine Forum members posting an advert for something that will have appeal like a camera or something unusual.

I don't recall seeing the Buy and Sell section being completely inundated with rubbish adverts so don't see any problem

I think we should creat a new "Confessional" subforum ........ where we can all bare our souls ........ and admit we own scooters ........ or not :D
