This is an original BMW DVD package and has only been opened to check that the disc is fully functioning. Part number 65 90 0 434 629.
The maps have been significantly updated from those in the 07-01 disc or earlier.
The DVD has been supplied by a UK BMW dealer so will not have any of the compatibility issues reported by others with discs sourced from non original suppliers.
£75 including postage in the UK.
The disc is not just an update disc but the full disc which covers the following areas.

United Kingdom
Ireland
Italy
Liechtenstein
Luxembourg

Never mind. If you let me know what disc you are using right now, I might be able to tell you if it will work. I know it will work in cars 06 onwards as the disc is identical to what I've got in my 07 Z4MC :)
 
hello their will this disc allow me to run perspective view??? ive got an 06MY z4m with sat nav pro and dvd based drive, will thsi work for me?? also will this update my firmware to v32?
 
This is the map disc (the expensive bit), firmware updates are freely available and any firmware from V27 up will give you perspective. You can get the firmware links from here http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all-bmw/navigation/9458-bmw-navigation-system-faq.html .

You have got a MkIV DVD drive so it will be able to ustilise all the latest benfits of both firmware and software.

If you have firmware V27 or higher you will be able to get perspective view with this disc but quite honestly I wouldn't bother. I found it clearer in 2D view.

The benefit of this disc is that it has a lot more recent roads on it than the disc your car would have been supplied with. I don't know if the updates are useful to you but I can now use the correct route to leave my home and the roads around work work are also up to date on this version that were not on my 07 version.

It is a worthwhile update from the 07 version.
