This car has been my life for the last 5-6 years and has had no expensive spared. Many items, nuts, bolts, washers have been removed, cleaned, greased and painted for longevity or replaced. The rear sub frame has been painted black to help protect it; in good condition. I have a massive folder full of receipts.

Oil changes less than every 5k with either Fuch Titan Race and more recently with Millers Nano Drive CFS at around £70 for 5 litres. The gearbox has had 2 gear box oil replacements both with Redline MT-90 since I’ve had the car. The gearbox looks like it was replaced at some point prior to me having it as its powder coated black.

The front bumper, spats and splitters have been re-sprayed. The paintwork is one of the best for its age however the usually age related stone chips are evident. The car has been double bucket washed with premium soap (Dodo Juice Sour Power) with a lambs wool wash mitt and dried with a dry towels which are more plush and more soft than I use to dry myself! It has been regularly waxed for protection. You’ll find very little in the way of dents or dings on the basis that they have been always removed each year at Ding Day our annual club event. The engine bay has also been regularly detailed so it is in great condition.

This car has been voted one of the top 2’s in the country and has always attracted attention. It fills me with deep regret that I'm having to sell this car but the time has come due to me not using the car as much as I'd like and I'd rather it go to a good home. I have a mass of paperwork and receipts. All MOT's.

The car will come with MOT until Jan 2015 and tax until June 2014. It also has 2 keys.

...a truly, one off motor..
GLWTS and I'm sure, it won't be around, for too long, tbh..
Cheers..

Thanks woolybear. I've had a few intereted parties but nothing confirmed yet. The cars well regarded in the MR2 world however I have to accept that now isn't the best time to sell a soft top.

After a few days in the Z the Z is definitely more refind and better put together than the 2 but ud kind of expect that from a car that was orginally near double the price new. However the steering is more heavy and is not as direct, nor is the gear change for that matter. The MR2 is certain more nimble and I'd say closer to Elise territory but with a lot more comfort and daily usability. It's a very fun little car.

Sorry about the delay. Ive just come back off holiday.

Ive got a viewing tomorrow but no confirmed sale yet. The hardtop has already been sold.

The tinted triangles are wind deflectors (included with the sale) the help when the window is down so you dont get blown in the face as much
