I can't believe I'm having to do this so soon into my ownership; I absolutely love this car and I'd imagined a long period of time with this car. Unfortunately, however, we have discovered our house has a massive damp problem which will only be cured by completely raking out and repointing the exterior of the house..........and only then after it has first been sandblasted! :thumbsdown: To this end, I Need to raise a significant amount of cash and the only thing available is the poor Zed. So, to the details:
Sept 2011 registered E89 sDrive23i M Sport Highline Edition with 27k miles and bought in May from BMW Elms Stansted as an approved used car. I am the third owner (first based in Bristol for 3yrs then bizarrely a lady just down the road from me in Saffron Walden, then myself since May). Given it was an AUC, it has the fantastic BMW warranty which is transferable to the next owner. In preparation for sale, the Zed had two brand new rear alloys and tyres and front alloys lightly refurbed. The tyres are fully matched OEM Bridgestone RFTs and have 8mm on the rear and 7mm on the front. Next Service (Oil) due in 8k miles or March 2017.
She is in immaculate condition for her age with only a couple of tiny stonechips at the front, for which I have bought a Chipex touch-in kit (which will be supplied with the car) and a tiny mark on the o/s wing mirror cap, which I was due to touch in with the same kit. Annoyingly I missed these when I bought the car and should've had BMW done them prior to collection.

Stubbie Aerial (retrofitted by myself)
LED Angel Headlight Upgrade (retrofitted by myself)
Brand new BMW Velour Carpet Mats (Elms refused to put new ones in so I sourced from Cotswolds)
Brand new windscreen wipers (Elms missed these during prep and I sourced from Cotswolds)
Obviously this also has Xenons as standard (one of my major required Options on any car I buy).
Engine-wise it's the beautiful and sonerous 2.5i 6-cylinder which has a wonderful character. The thousand miles I've done in the car have been some of my best ever motoring miles; never tiring of the turbine smoothness of the acceleration, mixed with rortiness and pops on the overrun. I'm averaging 27.4mpg on a mixture of 7mile each way commutes to the station and longer 80mile jaunts to London City Airport. I can easily hit 33mpg on the airport runs.
The Zed is stored in the garage when not in use and absolutely lavished with TLC at any spare moment I have. In Testament to the fact I believed the Zed was a longterm partner, I have sourced a set of mint Style 290 17" winter alloys which I was going to shod with winter rubber, but have held off in light of the recent house discovery. If I get what I want for the car, I will pop these in as part of the deal.
Anyway, I think that's about all the details. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you need any further information. The Zed is based nr Saffron Walden and can be viewed most evenings or weekends (albeit I'm travelling a good few days each week for the next several weeks but happy to try and be as flexible as possible). No testdrives without proof of full insurance on my car but happy to provide a passenger ride to any serious buyers. Currently on a private plate but I have the original and will Transfer this Prior to completion of sale. HPI clear (bought with cash) and not stolen or written off.
