FS: Alutec Strut Tower Brace, Toronto, ON, Canada $250

Hi All,
Christmas was good to me, I got a Dinan Strut Brace for my Z4, so my Alutec one is up for sale. It was purchased ~ 2-3 years ago as part of a group buy from the old z4um.com I've had it installed in both my former '03 and my current '05 Z4. Part is in mint shape (it's a brace, it's not like it's got moving parts to break). Being offered for sale is only the strut tower brace, not the supplemental (firewall) braces. Any questions please let me know, preference giving to local buyer, but I do have the box and packaging material from my Dinan brace so I can ship at buyer's cost. Sorry I don't know how to upload pictures of the brace but if you PM me I can email them to you, thanks for looking.

Hehe, ok I just want to verify, this is the part that goes strut to strut right? If so then I will take it.

Does mileage affect strut bars at all? I wouldn't assume so but I am curious

Not so quick - I would assume that the question relates to it being an alloy bar and therefore does the constant flexing (or compression and stretching) fatigue it over the sort of cycles experienced in a car driving for x000's miles? I doubt it but good question :thumbsup:
 
Aebous, as far as I know milage doesnot affect on the bar. It is the brace that goes strut to strut. Let me know how you'd like it sent (mail, UPS, FedEx) and your zip code and I can get you a price including shipping.
