Up for sale is my trusty 3.0.

I've owned the car for over 5 years, and it's been brilliant in that time. It's a high mileage car but it's been well looked after and with the new interior etc it doesn't show that age.

I'm fully aware it's priced higher than other high mileage examples, but the bits attached do hold a very tangible value.

Mileage: 151k
10 months MOT, one advisory for surface rust on rear brake pipes. I used an unfamiliar garage for the MOT because the car was miles away from home upon expiry. I've since checked it over and have no concerns about the advisory, think they were just looking for something...
Price: £4000

Standard Spec:

6 Spd manual
Auto lights/wipers
Sports button
Autodim rear view mirror
CD changer
Tyre Pressure Sensors
Heated electric seats
Electric Folding Wing Mirrors

Nice Bits:
Individual Amarone Sports Seats - Electric and heated
BMW 224 //M Sport Wheels - Continental tyres only covered 4k miles ago at a cost of over £500
ZHP gear knob
Royal steering wheels retrimmed wheel - Perforated sections and thicker wheel.
Wind deflector
Aux In
Gaptech+ remote roof control (this allows opening of roof by the key, and also one touch control inside)

The car has been serviced at least yearly in my ownership, usual services, following BMW guidelines, including spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter etc etc etc and it's had the following replacement parts in my ownership to freshen it up:

5 Year Guarantee Battery fitted last year
Lower front wishbones and bushes all Meylee HD
New Clutch (2014), along with new gearbox oil, new exhaust seals and fitting kit. (including DMF inspection)
New Diff Oil and Seals
Both aux belts replaced
Oil Filter housing gasket changed (very common to weep)
Rocker cover gasket replaced
New rear trailing arm bushes fitted (I suspected they were worn)
Full coolant flush and change with genuine bmw coolant
Roof motor refurbishment and case seal (very quiet and smooth action)
New boot struts

Bad bits:

Driver side cup holder is broken.
Age related stone chips to bottom of front bumper.
Diff bushes probably want changing soon, knock when changing gear at top end occasionally

The car will only be for sale in this form for a month or so. Beyond then, the car will be returned to a very basic spec and sold at a lower price. I've spent a long time sourcing all the right bits for this so it would be nice to see it go as is.

Bits that will be removed and sold on for part exchange of standard parts (I'll put an ad up for these if it doesn't sell):

Amarone Sports Seats to be PX'd for standard black/red leather seats and door cards
224's to be PX'd for 108's or 107's etc.
Royal steering wheels Refurbished wheel to be part exchanged for standard item

Oooooooooo those seats are proper nice  for me possibly THE nicest choice of finish on any MSport seats

GLWTS and 3rd dibs on the seats lol, they look amazing hopefully someone buys the car complete looks great.

Thanks for the comments all. I'm really hoping to sell it as is, but appreciate it's probably considerably easier to sell the bits and then reduce the price accordingly.

Slight price drop down to £4,000

You'll still get £4k for it without the seats... PLUS some cash from me???

Got a couple of people that want to come and look at it over the easter weekend. If there's no takers then we'll talk seats.

I agree with the other guys, the seats are lovely. I've just spent the last 20mins trying to convince MrsB that we need a second Zed after seeing this, but I've failed. :(

I'd be interested in your 224s for cash if you'd like to sell them without a PX'd.

Nice one, I'll be all ears and folding notes of course :) Happy to swap them over myself.

Wasn't this the one that was found at the bottom of a lake, then dried next to a volcano (hence the seat colour), a few new engines and has a gear box fitted the wrong way around resulting in 6 reverse gears and one forward?

:D

Cracking car this, boys and girls. Having been out in it on a number of occasions and knowing the owner well I'm certain this will make a brilliant Zed for the new owner. Cared for with top quality detailing products, constantly maintained mechanically and one, I'm certain, sorry owner waving goodbye.
