I have owned it just over 2 years, both I and the former owner were non smokers and have kept the car in very good condition. It comes with complete BMW Service history. All servicing and repairs have been carried out at BMW. The only exception to this was replacement drive belts which I had done at a respectable independant BMW specialist – the reason I used them was because my local BMW Dealer tried to con me out of some unneccesary work so they will never see my custom again.

Bodywork is in good condition without any nasty parking marks from people opening their doors on it but there some stone chips but this is to be expected for a car of this age. The roof is regularly treated with Autoglym roof cleaner and treatment. Tyres have lots of tread, rears were replaced 600 miles ago. Interior is in good condition. The seats are in good condition for their age, some minor marks. Both I and the previous 2 owners were non smokers (do not have history of earlier owners). This amazing car will give its new owner a lot of pleasure and very low running costs for the forseeable future.

Schedules Servicing History:
• Oct 2006 Inspection 1 (27k miles) – BMW Dealer
• Aug 2008 Inspection 2 (61k miles) – BMW Dealer
• Nov 2010 Oil Service, including Brake Fluid (72k miles) – BMW Dealer
• Mar 2011 Replaced both front drive belts (this was done - Independant BMW Specialist, Grosvenor Motors in Reading
• Next service is due in 13k miles where it will be an Inspection 1.

You are welcome to view, prod and poke the car and I’ll willingly take you out for a drive (as I was taken when I bought the car). However, I will not allow anybody to test drive the car themselves as I won’t be confident they’re fully insured which could create a nightmare if something were to happen whilst they were test driving it.

Looking for £6,995

Location is Basingstoke

Sorry to hear you're selling your zed!

Looks like a good example.

Personally, if I couldn't drive the car I wouldn't buy it. Might be worth thinking of ways around this. I can appreciate your reasons though. There's one day insurance companies out there. I know my insurance allowed me to be insured temporarily to test drive.

spearman - I would tend to agree with you but this is how I bought the car. The aim of the statement is to put off any chancers (not from this forum but anywhere else) who might just want a joy ride. If someone can prove they have fully comp cover (rather than 3rd party) then there wont be a problem.

leon - that is the summary of the servicing history, not meant to be everything from the car's very beginning. Current miles are just passing 74.5k so as you can see I am really not getting to do many miles in her as its my sunny weekend car and I'm often out with the mrs and the dog so we use the bigger car.

I wonder if Leon was getting at the fact you quote a FSH yet the car appears to have gone as much as 34k miles between services? If there are any interim oil services you've missed out, it would be good to list them. :)

Aha makes sense now. Yes, had a dealer oil service in 2007 in between the inspections. Didn't go 34k without servicing! Thanks for comments

Had 2 companies contact me looking to get my car details and them match them to buyers who are just waiting for my car...if i pay some money.

Didnt realise there were so many annoying trolls around doing such jobs!
