Frozen doors and windows

Now that winter is here, on a chilly Cumbrian morning I've found the doors difficult to open on my Coupe, as the glass has frozen to the door surround.
Any 'old housewife' suggestions to prevent the problem instead of spraying de-icer and scraping, or using a blanket to cover???

Search for frozen window in problems - loads in there :thumbsup:
 
Gummi Pflege is the one i use too. Good for all the rubber bits around doors, boot etc.

Ebay have it here (not me selling it by the way!)
