Hi,
Hope someone can help me out.
Just had my front tyres replaced - lots of wear on the inside of the prev tyres, so i thought I`d get the tracking done too.
Mechanic noticed shudder on the front wheels under braking - showed me and the front right wheel was shuddering and he could feel it on the pedal
I had always put the terrible ride down to the cr*ppy Bridgestone runflats and terrible roads - he advised that it looks like the Front Anti Roll Bar bush needs replacing.
My questions are;
How easy is it to replace these yourself? and are there any detailed instructions around? I have seen the Powerflex bushes for just over £20 for the pair.
In your experience is it just the ARB bush that needs replacing or could it be something more?
The car is under warranty with warranty direct so more than likey they will pay for it but I dont want to claim if it is something that is common and can be fixed easily and cheaply without paying the warranty excess.
Thanks in Advance
