Front Spltter... Thoughts?

Not really seen anyone with any sort of front splitter so decided to take the plunge and put one on that's not really for the car but I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Would love some feedback, good or bad.

Thanks Adamski, it'll be interesting to see how much different it looks when it's next to some other Z's.

We'll see how it splits peoples opinion at the end of the month.

Which car should the splitter be on?

It's a universal one. When I opened up the box it came in I expected it would look awful but have to say I'm really pleased with the result.

How did you attach it?

Would be good as fang extensions like on the M!

There's virtually no weight so it's attached with some 3M tape (It came with it already attached) this could really easily be modified so as it was just at the corners, I might still do this.

For looks or improved performance?

If it's for looks then not for me. If for performancve then a universal fitting would have had little or no 'windtunnel' testing to prove its worth. The main thing is that you like it.

I attached some eyebrows to a Z3 with 3M tape and I watched them fly over the bonnet on the motorway ay 70mph so be warned

I'll just have to wait and see :o ..... I hope it holds up! :?

I personally quite like it.

What is it made of?

I think once I fit my M bumper this would be handy to protect it when going up slopes to stop it getting damaged if I ground it.

Thanks aquazi

I'm not sure what it's made of but it's very light and flexible and like you I think this will protect the underside a bit.

Won't it just be pulled off by speed humps etc? :?

On the standard bumper it should be ok - but in the M bumper I think your right
