Front splitter

I'm looking for a new front splitter for my Z4M roadster. I've had the Schmiedmann on for a few years but it's quite fragile and would like to find a non carbon version if I can.

Any recommendations?

The options are limited.. But APR does have a nice (carbon) splitter which isnt fragile. Too my understanding, you dont always need the stuts.

Thanks for that.

Both are a bit too agressive and track specific. I just don’t like the fang appearance on the oem spoiler. Might have to get another Schmiedmann and paint it.

One thing I've toyed with (nand may do as a winter project this winter) is adding an additional layer of fibreglass to the rear, can pick up kits for boat repairs pretty cheaply, and shouldn't be a difficult job (if the yacht-types can manage it I'm sure we can!).

Only thing to u guess factor in is if you make the splitter stronger, and you attach it firmly, the next weakest point is your bumper mounting brackets, so there is a risk you'll remove your front bumper somewhat forcefully if you're not really careful!

That’s a pretty good point.

I would probably mount it firmly but not solidly to avoid the bumper being pulled off. I’d rather the mounting be the weak point and allow a bit of flex.

Might ask the bodyshop if they can just repair and paint over the current one as it doesn’t look dented, just some cracks.
