Ok i know some of you will hate the idea but its something i feel i have wanted on my zed and now im actually doing it. Ok its very early days so far as only got my bits back from the body shop again! tonight. I have only installed 2 sensors so far but i feel its looking good. I have and extra control panel and bottons which i will use to give me the extra botton for the parking sensors, http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25979&hilit=parking#p360363 im going to use the same setup as this but not making the bottons of course just reusing the extra ones i have. Anyhow some quicks pics so far. Ill keep adding to this post as i progress, but being busy with work it may be a couple of weeks till im finished.
Ok quick update for those who are interested about this topic. I used cobra Park Master A0356/358/359 17mm parking sensors and a Starrett CSC16 Smooth Cut Holesaw 16mm to cut the holes in the bumper, the parking sensors do recommend a 17mm hole saw but 16 is fine with a little extra work.As you can see from below thats the order in which the senors are applied, sticker, holder then screw in the parking sensor through the holder until flush with the bumper.
bumper removal is required but there is already a thread on how to remove the bumper on this forum. This was a face lift bumper and fog lights needed removing to.
Be warned that if you have washers in your bumper that things are tight and i got pretty lucky, the middle fixing ring(black ring in pic above) does push under the washer jet lining but its tight

not easy work fitting behinde the washer jet.

As i stated at the top i used a 16mm hole saw and sanded down the back edge of my hole , then i touched up the inside of the holes with a touch up pen,it cant be seen but kinda smooths the edges a little. Then using a little soap to lube the sensor i then screwed it through.
The two middle sensors where very easy as i had alot more room to play around with, id suggest you start with them.

I ended up using some silcone to help hold the paking sensors brackets in place as the idea of one coming lose and having to take the bumper back off would not be something i would want to do,(personal choice) The plastic brackets can be brought sepratly so no problem if they get ruined if you ever need to replace a senors.
Now for a problem, parking sensors need a minimum hight or around 45cm which i could not obtain but i found away around this but ill show you how when i post on the wiring, few shoots now of the finished look, gunna start on the button and wiring tomorrow so still more to come.
