FRONT LINE FORUM MEMBERS

A quick big   to the members on here on the coal face....in no particulate order: Medical, emergency services, food, deliveries, care workers, council members, etc, etc, the list goes on.....if you’re on the front line a massive THANK YOU..!! Amongst the awful behaviour and depressing stories we read every day I’m sure every single member on here is truly grateful to you and your partners on the front.

Keep going and stay safe gang.....you’re very very much appreciated...!!  :)

Yup. Wholeheartedly agree!
Thank you all for your efforts. I hope you are able to all remain healthy even in the circumstances you find yourselves in.
 :happyclap:

I'm not saying which one, but I'm currently working (from home) in the Procurement department of a UK pharma company.

My dad is over 70, and medically retired some years ago.

My mum works in a critical-care residential home.

Keeping them isolated is a bit of a challenge.

My wife is a community nurse on chemotherapy (2nd stage breast cancer), so was sent on 12 week isolation a couple of weeks ago.

She can’t see patients at the moment but is busy working remotely phoning patients (mostly elderly) explaining things and re-arranging things, arranging volunteers for food deliveries etc as most of them are isolated as well, triaging for district nurses etc.

So, not physically on the front line at the moment (but she has been for almost 40 years) but definitely doing her bit.

I hope you agree this counts!

I just hope the countries gratitude lasts well into the future, and these services are properly funded from now on.

Not neglected and undervalued like before.

The staff deserve recognition for their work and dedication all the time, not just when they’re saving the whole country.
