Front crash sensors

Hello, It's been a while since I've been here. I still have my 2005 Z4 3.0 and I'm finally getting ready to address my "airbag" warning light that is always on. A few years ago I paid to have a diagnostic done at the dealer and was told that I had 2 faulty front crash sensors. I had just paid $100.00 for that diagnostic and was quoted around $300.00 to have the work done which included parts. At the time, $400.00 was a bit of a stretch so I held off the repair. Well, fast forward to now and I got a few bucks back from Uncle Sam so thought I'd finally get it done. Well, the dealer I had gone to before is now gone so I had to go to another dealer and pay them for another diagnostic $115.00. Same conclusion as before, but now they say the cost for the repair is $520.00 with tax. :? This is a hard pill to swallow so once again I'm looking for a cheaper way to get this done. I really don't trust this dealer, but they are MUCH closer to me than any other dealers. I'm getting ready to call a few other dealers to compare pricing. I'm also contemplating doing the repair myself. If I remember correctly, the whole front fascia has to come off the car to access the sensors. Not totally comfortable with that but I'm considering it. SO....are there any "how to videos" out there to help me along? Also, are there better options for purchasing the parts I need other than the dealer? Any help would be appreciated....thanks....
