Front Coil Springs

Just got the car out after 2 months from my garage and can’t believe it that the coil front spring snapped was fine when we put the car away
Anyway before I go and buy a new set , anyone have any front coil springs for sale ? Preferably standard to fit E85 2.5
Or any recommendation as where to buy seems to me there’s about 200 different brands

In Sheffield and have another car so can collect

I had exactly this happen last year after we’d been away on hols and car sat in the garage for a few weeks, come to get it out and horrible noise as spring was catching the tyre.

Anyway, given my motor had done 70k miles I took the opportunity to do a suspension rebuild, so ordered 2new springs (Kilen) along with new shocks, top spring plates and all new rubbers and bottom bolts.

Got pretty much everything from Autodoc, about £180 quid all in.

Fitting new springs was a bit of a pain as they aren’t straight but are wider in the center, so getting spring compressors on was difficult.

If you buy new then look at Suplex springs, they are definitely OEM+ spec and more longer lasting. Excellent when combined with Bilstein B4s
