£200-250 i would say is also for just taking the bare bumper to the paint shop also.

I have just had mine done,this was taking the bare bumper in.It needed quite a bit of work,the cost was £250.

Sounds to me like the bodyshop just didn't want the work & deliberately priced themselves out of the market, but in the offchance you did go ahead with it then they'd be quid's in.

I had my front bumper resprayed last year and the cost was $225.00.

I had a z4 bumper sprayed 3 times after various incidents.... And never paid more than £300.. Some required a lot of prep/ plastic welding.

So your quote is well of the mark.

So been to a couple more places bmw Cribbs not received a quote but said around £600... And Ford in clevedon guys said about £300 so result! Waiting for an actual quote so if that's right I will bite his hand off.... :evil:

Went to another place £400 for respray plus a few dents fixedy

I went a little while ago to our local BMW Approved body shop (BMW main agent sends all there cars there for repairs) and got a quote for £350 all in that's to take a graze out of one of the fangs on my M bumper and to get rid of all the small chips which I thought was quite a good price for an approved body shop

That sounds good had better luck today so hopefully get some better written quotes in the next few days. Once I've got all the quotes I'll post them up here.
