Front bumper damage

So I hit a badger the other night and now the front bumper is damaged on the driver's side below the level of the headlights

The fog light feels loose as if something has broken and I think the lower grille may also be damaged

There is some paint peeling off the bumper as well

How difficult is it to remove the bumper to assess how much damage there really is?

Not too difficult there should be a thread in the how to section with pics. Basically look underneath the bumper and disconnect the undertray from the bumper. Pop out the plastic rivets that hold the arch liner to the bumper. Then pull the bumper (where it meets the wing) until it pops off the clip. Open bonnet and remove all the torx bolts along the front edge then the bumper should pull off. If you have headlight washers you'll need to disconnect the pipes from behind.
