Front Brakes + Snow Tyres = Light Show ???

So all this talk about winter and snow etc. got me ambitious.
Decided to install the snow tyres, and while I had the front tyres off,
I changed out the front brake pads.
When I finally got the right part, everything went as well as the You Tube Video.
Only concern was the wear sensor wire which I had never experienced before.
I tugged out the clip as carefully as possible, and later noticed there was a small copper wire clip left behind on the brake pad backing plate. ??
I was also careful to monitor the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir, which is slightly above max, but it didn't overflow.

With everything bolted up, I took a test drive and :
3 dash lights and a audible "bing" !
I have amber brake warning light,
amber tyre pressure light,
and an amber Dynamic Stability Control light (exclamation mark inside a triangle with an arrow around it ?)

Now I accept that I probably busted the brake wear sensor wire,
You Tube says I should just short out the wire. ??
I have no idea why the tyre pressure monitor light is on.
I have installed the snow tyres (on rims) at least 5 times before and reset the system via that button, with never a problem.
DSC - Unless this is a warning that driving without brakes on flat tyres might affect stability somewhat.

So my overseas pals - Any tips on how to get rid of those lights.
PS - The brakes work great.

Firstly I'd disconnect the battery for 10mins and see if that clears the lights. The brake wear sensor puts up a different light to what you are saying.

Sure some more info will come along once the rest of the UK wakes up :thumbsup:
 
As Yorkie said first I would try leaving the battery off and see if that resets the warning lights.
The other possibility is that you may had damaged the ABS sensor / ABS sensor cable on one of the front wheels.
Probably best way to diagnose is to get / borrow an ODB error code reader and see what it says. :thumbsup:

I appreciate your responses.
I installed a new wire harness for the front brake wear sensor,
and did a thorough inspection of the connections just in case the brake caliper somehow knocked something askew.
Everything looked good so I disconnected the battery while I installed the front tyre.
Reconnected the battery and went for a spin.
At first the idiot lights resisted, but after a few choice words they came around.
Just had to set the clock and now all is honky dorey !
