From one to Another

Bought a 2.0 M sport in February loved it but felt slightly lacking In power and performance so traded it for a M40i and it arrived yesterday. M40i was a managers car with 1,500 miles on. Comfort packs, tech pack and shadow line pack.
Got to say love the new car. Sounds and goes great. Looking forward to getting used to it in the next few days

Congratulations - Thats got to be a forum record, being on your second G29 already
We've got a 30i and i've not found that lacking in power at all. It doesn't corner like an E85 but its not lacking uuumph

Thanks. Yeah maybe a record. Nothing wrong with the 2.0 but felt I love the car enough to stick with it a few years and to do this it needed to be the M40i. Also some with probably argue but since having the tech pack that makes a difference to me as well in terms of what it offers. Got a good deal on the 2.0 and the M40 was heavily discounted off list for having 1,500 miles on it. Bit the bullet. Not spent much money during CoViD so far so having a few extra pennies saved helped the process. Let’s hope the good weather continues

Yes My 30i was ex demo, 4000 miles M Sport + Tech and Comfort + packs. And heavily discounted too so a no brainer.

Very good and a wise move. The engine in the M40i is glorious.
Mine was the demo car from the dealership and I got it with 10.1 miles on the clock.

Morning Alan, when I spoke to you yesterday morning at AV8 you mentioned that you could tell the car if you were tired and it would play music alter the ambient lighting etc to keep you alert, can you tell me if this is standard on the G29 or part of the tech package please ? Cheers Steve

I'll check with my daughter. Shes a 'BMW Genius" at Lovettt's and knows what spec comes with what packages, but its 'Caring Car' that you're referring to
