I thought it was about time I posted a photo of my car. I've just detailed it using Meguiars 3 step system and think it looks great!

Just in time for the nice summer-ish weather we've had recently in the UK. Hope i've got the formatting right so you can see the pic.

thx guys. You're too kind. I must admit it looks stunning in the flesh.

Now i've got another car to do. Merc SL350 which hasn't been treated as nicely as mine so lots more swirls and marks to try and minimise. Oh well there goes the weekend!

Monster, I was a big fan of Meguiars 3 step system for years on my pickup.. but after being on this board now for eight or nine months, it is much easier to skip the Megs paint cleaner and use a clay bar. Just use the polish and wax...

But that shine is awesome.....

I must admit that the paintwork wasn't bad enough to use the step1 over the whole car. I just used it on some obvious patches and then step 2 and 3 after that.

We've had a bit of rain in the last two days and now it's as dusty as hell again. Well, the weekends were made for washing cars anyhow!

I still you Step 2 on my car... It just seems to work....

But after being chastised on the board, after only one use, I became a ClayBar advocate. Clay is easier to use than the Step1... and faster....

The Blue has a really deep shine.... I like that deep blue...
When I get my second Z at the end of the year, I cannot decide on color. The blue or red....
