Nothing sordid, just some feedback on a spray for releasing rusty bolts..........
I swapped out the baggy self-levelling rear suspension struts and coils on my old Forester Turbo today but some 19mm bolts were seized solid, even an overnight dose of penetrating fluid and my trusty 80cm breaker bar didn't shift them. I haven't got access to a gas torch so tried out some freezing agent which super-chills and penetrates in one dose, after tapping the bolts and leaving them for ten minutes they broke free nicely.
I used Halfords "Shock and unlock" spray but there are plenty of other freeze penetration sprays that probably do the same job, I'd say it's worth having a tin before starting a job like this as it worked a treat.
