Agreed to write the car off is harsh, it looks like a new front bumper and a few bits would have it sorted, but you never know.
Assume the car at some stage belonged to a Forum member, anyone still around?

Front impact has also damaged the outside temp sensor - unless it's bloody cold in Retford 
Looking at the list of parts - front bumper, kidneys, lower grills, undertray, fog lights, headlights (possibly go for a lug kit), front panel, brace bars, possibly radiator...... it all adds up. Passenger strut tower looks to have a crack in it as well. Can see why insurance didn't want to touch it.

I saw the hideous temperature reading & thought 'nippy'!
It's a tad pricey unless you buy used parts I suppose.
I thought one of the rad bars looked bent as well although they said both rads were fine.
Worth a thought if you're after a cheap one but the cat C is a worry later on.
