Forum Help- much appreciated

Like some other Forum members I had a problem with the Carly App. I bought the device when Carly was offering lifetime support and updates. Before they began to use the annual subscription model. I had used the device very little. When attempting to use it recently I found myself locked out. After a dozen or so emails to Carly I was no further forward. Then Smartbear came to my rescue guiding me to where I could find the evidence Carly demanded to unlock the App for me. It took another 18 emails but this morning the App was unlocked.
Without Smartbear’s help I would never have found what I needed and was on the point of giving up.
So once again the Forum demonstrates one of it’s great strengths, Forum members helping each other. :thumbsup:

I know what you mean. I thanked him on another post you might have seen about ‘whether to get Carly or not’ and he mentioned my incontinence problem. Which I felt to bit unnecessary now I am wearing the pads, :wink:

It’s good to have a laugh. But this predictive text can be a nightmare. I have had a few disasters with messages I have sent without spotting the mistake. :roll:

As a Tech Author it is second nature to read it all back to be sure, but even then stuff slips through, and I've lost count of the number of times I've frantically edited before anyone notices.

The best I ever did was on an old Nokia 3310. Text to wife, after a long day working and staying away, was supposed to read 'in the pub enjoying a pint'. It arrived to tell her I was 'in the pub enjoying a riot'!

He promised the cheque was in the post. When I asked about his bank he said it was’Bank of Toyland’. What do you think?
